oResponsible for 5 exempt direct reports (Supervisors) in addition to over 100 indirect non-exempt reports that have responsibilities within the Receiving department, Packaging and Shipping department, Small Batch Production and Large Production.
oDeveloped and implemented a Sales & Operations Planning strategy for production to improve transparency and improve production effectiveness
o Installed a new preassembly process to mitigate the impact of raw material shortages.
oCreated a process to monitor production metrics in order to accurately track production costs, production output and labor efficiency.

oResponsible for process improvements within the production facility
oInstalled an automatic bailer machine for 1 gallon pails to improve packaging output and reduce risk of injuries to employees due to poor ergonomics associated with hand bailing 1 gallon cans.
oLed a team of contractors to restore the wash system for portable tanks. This led to a reduction in portable tank downtime as well as reduced risk of injury to tank wash operators due to repetitious movements.

oResponsible for providing technical support for the alcohols and aldehydes production plants.
oDeveloped a new logistics strategy that reduced overall raw material shipping costs by an estimated $400K annually.
oSuccessfully increased plant capacity that resulted in an excess of $2.0M in additional sales with little associated capital cost
oLed a team to redesign a product recovery system valued at ~$2.8M/yr.
oDeveloped a feed strategy for the distillation train that resulted in over $400K in reduced department utility costs.
oOptimized an amine CO2 recovery system that resulted in a reduction in utility usage valued $300K. Green Belt certification project.
