CAREER OBJECTIVE
Seeking a position where I can utilize my leadership principles and expertise in education and the human science.
EXECUTIVE PROFILE
Extensive experience in guiding students in preparation for the Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education examination in Setswana Language and Literature. Leads people in the school based Guidance and Counselling programmes, where I have come-up with different initiatives for the betterment of the school performance and discipline in general. Was roped-in by Botswana Examination Council as Regional Examination Administrator for the 2011 examination. Have addressed different Junior Secondary Schools in the Tswapong Region on matters pertaining to Subject selection and motivating their students. Have worked as the Secretary of the Circles of Support initiative by the Ministry of Education in our School and also a member in the Executive Committee of VMSAC in Ratholo Village as well as the Machaneng/Martinsdrift Drug Abuse Prevention Committee.
Well-versed in Setswana language translation. Have worked as a part-time translator for the once Mokgosi Newspaper, where I was tusked with translating written materials from English to Setswana for printing and publication. In lieu of this, also actively involved in editing and proofreading activities of the articles/papers.
Have a comprehensive knowledge of ICT (Information, Communication and Technology), particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, Netscape and Explorer Lotus Suite, Microsoft Publishers.
A culturally sensitive educator. Enjoys freelance work and creative writing in Setswana and English language respectively.

Botswana Examination Council 22nd September 2014 – 14th November 2014
Responsibilities:
. . Was recruited by Botswana Examination Council to provide supervisory responsibilities in the running of the 2014 examination at Senior Secondary levels as well as the training and supervision of invigilation teams in Botswana Examination Council Centre’s. Investigate and report issues of examination mal-practice to the relevant authorities. Ensures security and integrity of the examination.
Mariba Junior Secondary School 24th September 2012 – 11th September 2014
. Have been redeployed back into the education Ministry to offer Setswana language and literature at Junior Secondary School for a two year contract.
Botswana Examination Council 10th September 2012 – 21st September 2012
. Recruited by BEC to help them in the running of the 2012 Primary School trials examinations which I was based in the Southern Region.
YWCA Secondary School April 2012 – 31st August 2012
Was recruited by Young Women Christian Association Secondary School to help them with their quest to improve their Botswana General Certificate of Education results on temporary basis, in teaching Setswana (BGCSE), Moral Education (JC) and Religious Education.

MOENG COLLEGE April 2007 – April 2010
Responsibilities:
Senior Teacher 1 (Guidance and Counselling) – Was promoted to head the Guidance and Counselling Department where I was tusked with leading a department which was responsible for developing coping skills in students so that they are prepared for the realities and complexities of life after school. Was responsible for the orientation of new students in school and divide them according to their science subjects and liaise with the parents on the first day of their arrival to explain the science categories to them and how their children will be put into these categories. Have also been invited on different occasions as a resource person to address Junior Schools in the Tswapong Region, especially the completing classes on matters relating to their subjects selection in Senior Secondary Schools as well as Teachers on Guidance and Counselling skills.
Secretary of Circles of Support team in our school. Was responsible for identifying needy students in school and come-up with ways that they can be assisted, if they have dropped out of school to come-up with mechanisms that can be used for them to return to school.

Responsibilities:
Teacher of Setswana Language and Literature
Was aggressively recruited by Teaching Service Management for a high profile post to teach Setswana Language and Literature and prepare both Form 4’s and Form 5’s for their BGCSE examination in the language.
Shares responsibility for the planning and operational efforts of the Setswana Language and Literature curriculum within the department. This included developing content materials and instructional aids, proofreading, editing and scoping students written work.
Being in the field of education, also liaise with outside partners such as parents on educational issues. Was also overseeing the school football team as the head coach.
BOCODOL 2003 – April 2007
Responsibilities:
Was recruited by the Botswana College of Distance and Open Learning as a Learner Tutor for Setswana Language and Literature for both Junior Certificate and BGCSE learners in Gaborone region. Here I was tusked with helping the learners with their course work in preparation for their final examinations.

Guided the school football team to the final of the Coca-cola Cup in 2000
Was selected to be the Assistant House Head of my house in St Joseph’s College (2006) as well as in Moeng College in 2008.
Promoted to head the Guidance and Counselling Department in Moeng College in April 2007.
Initiated the academic transformation of Moeng College from position 16 in 2006 national results to position 5 in 2007 and 2008 respectively
