Experience:

January 2013 – April 2015: Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG), Pearl River, LA. Title: Merchandise/Pricing Associate. Retailer-owned cooperative serving over 300 independent stores on the Gulf Coast, and part of 3,400 retail outlets in 30 states, with an extensive distribution network for a complete assortment of grocery, fresh meat, fresh produce, specialty foods, health care, and general merchandise items. Implemented and trained employees on new processes to managing store merchandise supplies for member stores needs on a daily basis. Responsible for ordering store supplies as a buyer from national and AWG brands. Accountable for invoicing, tracking orders, reporting inventory, and producing accurate monthly/end-of-period financial statements. Provided customer service support for store orders, tracking, invoicing and shipping supplies, and processing store credits and add-ons to daily shipments. Established a new process to implement Syspro inventory and invoice system for customer billings. Assisted with customer service calls, price changes, and price tag requests. Assumed established business and was responsible for day-to-day operations for over 400 customers and businesses on a daily route on the North Shore of Louisiana and parts of Mississippi. Managed more than $300,000 in inventory, coordinating customers’ weekly orders, stocking new inventory and completing deliveries. Program: Area Security Operations and Control System for Homeland Security.

Department: Configuration Management. Title: Manager. Established configuration and release management using the Serena Polytron Version Control System (PVCS), developed a Configuration Management Plan, processes and procedures using the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) process for improved training and appraisal program and service. Performed baseline audits and trained the support team. Developed department project cost and schedule, and served as backup program scheduler using Oracle’s Primavera 6 professional project management software.

Program - Navy Human Capital Development. Department: Program Planning & Control. Title: Manager. Assisted Program Manager with day-to-day activities to develop a system to evaluate the Navy’s training materials; including contract and subcontract management, financial reports, program schedule using Oracle’s Primavera 5 and 6 software, developed program work packages, basis of estimates costs, and travel authorizations. Facilitated program and department integrated meetings including management and customer reviews, scheduling, standup, peer reviews, development and test meetings. Also used Microsoft Project during Katrina disaster and clean up for a year.
