Engineered and directed the technical modernization of a failing auto supplier. Recruited to serve as VP Operations and then President of McCord Gasket (1984-1990) I directed the updating and technical re-equipping of the product design, production processes and aftermarket distribution operations which returned the company to profitability and growth both in the US and Japan.

Directed the growth and significantly expanded the performance reputation of a publicly owned multi faceted business. Recruited to serve as President & CEO of United Screw & Bolt Corp., Both sales and profits grew under my leadership through obtaining additional business from existing customers by providing them with exceptional service and competitive costs, and additional customers through synergistic acquisitions.

Created a new corporation to acquire synergistic businesses and form a consolidated product line that was more attractive to customers than as stand-alone entities. As President & CEO of FabriSteel Products Inc., I created revenues of $250 million in 30 months that generated EBITDA in excess of 20%.
