March 2012 - Office Manager. Responsible for the day to day operations of the dance
June 2014 studio including data base management of customer information, registration and placement of students, billing and accounts payable. Also handle marketing, promotions and advertising including the development and placement of print and media materials. Other duties include coordination of two major shows each year and all in-studio promotional activities. Acts as liaison between community and studio by sitting on community boards and scheduling appearances of competition based groups at community events. Dec 2006 Special Events Coordinator. Responsible for development and implementation of special events on behalf of the Gary SouthShore RailCats, a minor league baseball team. Events included a community luncheon to introduce the team, mall appearances by the team and mascot, an event to unveil the mascot, a “stadium opening” party for the public, opening day activities for inaugural home game, and a sponsor golf outing. In addition, worked closely with the general manager to create the team mission statement and marketing plan, as well as, the employee handbook.
