Achievements
Instituted a pre-cleaning station to achieve a 25% reduction in spent chemical change-outs and new chemical purchases.
Developed and implemented formal safety programs which were partly responsible for a 40% reduction in OSHA recordable injuries and worker’s compensation insurance claims which led to $25,000 dividend return for unused reserves.
Identified cost effective waste disposal options to reduce liquid disposal cost by approximately 40% and identified sources amenable for entry into alternative fuels programs.
Instituted a management strategy to become more efficient in the use of roll-off containers and implemented a recycling program to reduce waste entering landfills by 50%. These combined efforts resulted in a $14,000 per year reduction in waste hauling and disposal costs.
