Duties and Responsibilities as Production Planner Associate
Take the role of planning, implementing and evaluating the generation of production orders for both in-house and toll manufacturers to support the business requirements of the commercial units and the management of the toll manufacturers’ compliance to the agreed requirements on volume, product quality, material usage and timeliness of delivery.
Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products.
Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, and human resource requirements.
Computes for the monthly Production Order Quantity both for domestic and international requirements taken into consideration the Buffer, Demand Plan, Sales to Distributor, Sales to Outlets, Distributors and Plant inventory.
Receives Sales Order (SO)/Purchase Order (PO) for doors from Sales & Marketing-Local/Export and
prepares Bill of Materials (BOM) also receivesInterplant request from other plants for material preparation, issues internal job orders and Bill ofMaterials (BOM) as approved by the PPIC Manager.
Interface with key personnel across all primary functions such as Sales and Marketing, Production, Research and Development, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Engineering and Logistics.
Responsible in making production schedule of in-house and toll partners both for local and export requirements based on computed monthly targets, production order, raw material and packaging material ordering and delivery schedule, RM/PM analysis.
Makes the monthly Material Requisition Plan, based on Production Order Quantity and prepares purchase requests.
Coordinate with dispatch personnel to ensure that all delivery commitments are accomplished as per
quality standards and schedules.
Coordinate with interface departments for incoming delivered items, transfer and other related activities.
Makes a monthly on production completion and compliance based on production order and schedule.
Identify key shortages on incoming orders and work closely with Logistics and Purchasing and Production
to expedite material or processes to meet delivery/shipment requirements.
Computes for the finish good, raw material and packaging material month end projection.
