Managed intake forms for the victims to establish the appropriate services to refer Baruch College Sleep Lab 2009 – 2011
Research Assistant
Ran sessions for studies involving sleep data, looking at how sleep deprivation affects fatigue and ego depletion
Recruited participants from Baruch college through an online database and gathered data by conducting weekly sessions with 3 different groups, 1 control and 2 experimental
Formed conclusions based on results from the data analyzed through SPSS that control group would show no change in fatigue or ego depletion after testing and the ego depletion and fatigue group would show increases in fatigue, reductions in physical effort and reductions in cognitive effort
Results used to write research paper for effects of sleep deprivation on fatigue and ego depletion and ability to do tasks such as holding a handgrip and non-academic task choice after being depleted of resources and from an hour and a half of reading comprehension
