Atlas General Insurance Services January, 2015 – June, 2015
Vice President of the Central Region
Hired to established and brand Atlas General Insurance Services a multi-line professional administrator, that designs, markets, underwrites and administers insurance policies in a 40 states. After company reorganization I was assigned three additional states Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico.
Personally handled the launch of a key GL product in the states of Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri and Texas. Each state increased in submission and written premium during the second quarter of 2015.
Researched and identified new broker partners in states Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Illinois and Texas. Established key contacts within partner and established specific submission, hit ratio and premium goals. Signed 108 new agencies within the first 90-days.
Reviewed and worked directly with the underwriting manager to ensure we were in compliance in the Texas workers compensation market. Taught CE credited class to independent agents outlining the unusual coverage situations which sometimes arise on compensable fatalities in Texas. In addition, I focused old dormant agencies, which were already established prior to my arrival, but not producing results.
