Objective:

I would like to work as a receptionist, an assistant, or even a manager at any company. I am capable of handling the responsibilities needed for these jobs. I have worked mostly in retail during my career, however, I am looking for something outside of my comfort zone. I am looking for something new and challenging to expand my mind while gaining experience.

Special Skills and Experience:

I am an excellent and friendly customer service employee. I answer the phone in a polite and calm manner. I am also a fast learner who can multitask and solve problems easily and effectively. I have experience with scheduling appointments, filing, and computer skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Email. I pay attention to details especially when typing letters, memos or documents for the staff members, clients or customers. I schedule appointments precisely for the clients benefit as well as the company’s so nobody is waiting or is overbooked. I always keep a clean office space because I love to be organized so I can prioritize important tasks.

Education:

Graduated Jersey Village High School in 2003. Went straight to Lone Star

College for over six years but did not graduate because I had to work. While I was in College, I mainly took courses that I found to be very interesting. I am just short a few credits, however, I do plan to get my degree soon by taking internet courses to advance my career. I would like to find a job so I can learn the business as well as gain knowledge of the field while making a smart career choice.

Work Experience:

2001 - Eckerd: 3/10/01 - 1/11/03. Started making $5.15 an hour and when I left

Eckerd I made $6.00 an hour.

2004 - Did not work, I was in school.

2005 - CY-Fair Pet Clinic: 1/21/05 - 6/10/05. Started at $6.50 an hour and when I left CY-Fair Pet Clinic I made $7.00 an hour.

2006 and 2007 - Did not work, I was in school.

2008 - Walgreens: 3/13/08 - 12/8/14. Started at $7.50 an hour and when I left Walgreens I made $9.41 an hour.

20014 - Balch Logistics: 12/12/14 – 3/06/2015. Worked as a Dispatcher/Broker as well as a receptionist. Made $11.00 an hour.
