OBJECTIVE

A General Manager position with an established company. The company would benefit from my unique career in the hotel industry. Experience in single-unit management for full-service hotels, multi property management, franchise operations, turn arounds, conversions, refurbishment and consulting.

Resorts, Renaissance Hotels, and Embassy Suites, ranging in size from 250-400 rooms with atriums and 20,000 to 120,000 square feet of meeting space. Typical assignments would one to three months. EXPERIENCE

Self-Employed, 2008-Present

Relief General Manager, consulting, and troubleshooting for two previous employers; John Q. Hammon's Hotels and Resorts and Windsor Capital Hotel Group. The properties include Marriott Hotels and Embassy Suites. The project included training, franchise standards, corporate standards, improved house profit, and NOI for ownership. Operating budgets and capital budgets were addressed and functional when completed.

John Q. Hammons Hotels, Marriott University Park Hotel, Tucson, AZ

General Manager, 2001-2008

A 250 room hotel, a 10,000 square foot atrium and 20,000 square feet of meeting space. During my 7-year tenure the ADR improved 50%. Market share improved from 101% to 155%. Marriott customer service scores averaged 82-88%, which was in the top 10% of all Marriott hotels. Coordinated a $4.5 million capital improvement plan. The hotel was a top-ten performer in profitability during my tenure. The NOI averaged 38-46%. Associate turnover was less than10% and in the top 10% of the company.

Windsor Capital Group, Santa Monica, CA

General Manager, 1994-2001

Responsible for conversions of hotels into the Windsor portfolio and troubleshooting hotels with operational/management problems. The position included staffing structure, internal

controls, refurbishment, business/marketing plans, budgeting and focus on operating income improvement. The hotels are full-service and extended-stay ranging in size from 100 to 380 rooms. The properties addressed consisted of Marriotts, Embassy Suites, and Hawthorn Suites. The assignments for the various locations were from one month to one year in duration.
