Had to move pallets of the trucks that we get our shipments in to designated areas. Take pallets off shelves and moving the barrels full of ink to there areas. Packed other items so they can be ready to be be sent out. Also helped out in managing the press machine that makes the magazines. My other duty also included in putting the magazines in bundles on the pallets and using the forklift to moved the pallet.

My responsibilities as a Salesman were that I had greet customer's who came through the door with a smile and with being excited,asking what they are in the market for. Then I showed them the product they were looking for and then I closed the deal. Product knowledge was a big part of being successful and was something you always had to keep up on,that way if a customer had a question you had an answer. Mega Furniture constantly got new furniture product and was very important keep up on your homework of the product. We as sales people had to meet a specific goal set at different numbers every month on sales. I always exceeded my goal plus more. My goal was to insure customers were given enough knowledge on a product and try to close the deal, making sure customer's left the store knowing what they just purchased was a good buy. Up selling warranties, other product that might go good with the current one they are purchasing, and getting the delivery fee and make it an easy pleasant experience for the customer's. I also had to receive items off the truck with the forklift and move the pallets to right area to keep the warehouse organized for future shipments.

Managed a store making sure sales and collections where at company standard as well as improving both department's in doing so insuring all my employees where well trained in those department as to where they could run the store with out me present, always recruiting to cover promotion of my employees.
