PROJECTS
M. Tech (Microelectronics):
Controlling Step Motor using PWM technique: In this project, basically the PWM output of the program controls the resolution of the shaft and thus controlling the speed of the Step Motor in steps. Hardware used is Nexys™2 Spartan-3E FPGA Board and the PWM is programmed using Verilog HDL in Xilinx ISE 14.5.
Design of Highly Stable Low Power SRAM: A new highly stable 7T SRAM bit cell with low power dissipation using Cadence EDA Tools (Virtuoso, Spectre, Assura) at TSMC 65nm Technology. This project is done as a part of my M.Tech thesis work, where memory designing is also done for a small memory of 4*4 bits.
B. Tech (Electronics and Communications):
Mobile Bug: This handy, pocket-size mobile transmission detector can sense the presence of an activated mobile phone from a distance of one and-a-half meters. It was designed and developed in the Electronics Lab using basic electronic components.
Smart Zone Sensing with Automatic Control: In this project we have used IR Sensors for the detection of Smart Zones. The IR Sensors contain an IR Transmitter and IR Receiver for the detection of the vehicles. And then the vehicles are automatically controlled according to the zone codes using a programmed ATmega 16 Microcontroller in Embedded C in AVR Studio.
