Sr. Sourcing Buyer / New Product Introduction Specialist 2010 - 2011

Responsible for researching, selecting, qualifying and buying new sources of suppliers to add to or supplement the existing database of production vendors. Goal was to reduce the company’s dependence on only a select number of suppliers. Exceeded stated goal of adding 12 new low cost outsource production vendors to 44. Followed through with PPAP sample order placement, initial QC qualification and blending new vendor ordering requirements into MRP production ordering cycle with Production requirements.
