In charge of 12 injection molding machines, 9 operators, one shipping employee, 1 maintenance employee, 2 packers, 1 floor lead person, 2 technical leadmen, and three employees in the Print Department. Run bill of lading on SAP computer program. Enter production in computer daily and reducing scrap. Maintain a spread sheet of color change scrap, and report on the progress at our monthly management meeting. Attend daily staff meetings to review plans for the day. Conduct bi-weekly shift meetings to cover customer complaints and also applaud employees for a job well done. Have monthly safety meetings, and review the safety topic of the month. Conduct AIB audit twice monthly to insure that AIB standards are met. Make sure all 5s procedures are followed, and work with a Kan Ban system in the warehouse. Attend weekly management meeting to cover customer complaints, work closely with the Quality Department on solving issues, and finding the root cause of the problem. Duties also include mentoring, counseling, cross training, and insuring a safe work environment for all employees. Entered production into Microsoft Excel spread sheet.

In charge of every aspect of the plant operation on second shift. This includes two warehouses, two production plants, maintenance, shipping and receiving, and four loader operators. In charge of mentoring, training, and all disciplinary actions as needed of 25 employees. Make adjustments to production schedule as needed to meet shipping requirements. As a member of the Safety Committee, I made sure all safety procedures were followed. I also reduced labor cost on first and second shift through lean manufacturing. I also implemented log books to insure smooth transition between shifts. Also maintained good housekeeping throughout the plant.
