Ashok Leyland is a 20,000 crore turn over Group. Having seven plant in India. In Ashok Leyland Pant Nagar plant company having a complete assembly unit to make a 75,000 vehicle per year. The company product range spam from 7.5 GVW to 49 GVTW in goods transport and from 19 to 80 seater in passenger’s .The weld shop capacity of weld shop 25,000 cabin per year.The Technical collaboration with Nissan Motor & John Deer.

ACHIEVEMENTS EXPERIENCE

Four Years Experience as a NTTF Student at Ashok Leyland Ltd Pantnagar in Weld shop Production.

January 2015 To June 2015 (6month) as a DET (Executive) at Ashok Leyland Ltd.

I was promoted as a line leader in Jan’2014. I was responsible for manpower deployment and to achieve daily production targets.

Seeing my skills of manpower handling & effectiveness, seniors have given me opportunity at BOSS Weld Line where I deployed as a Line leader.

I have received 8 RISEi and 5 Suggestion awards for actively participating in improvement projects.

I was the first Employee of the year of weld shop Ashok Leyland PNR in FY2010-2011.

I was awarded Employee of the month award 4 times during my training Span of 4 yrs.

I was awarded by our worthy chairman Mr. Dheeraj G. Hinduja, Managing Director Mr. Vinod K. Dasari, Sri Lankan transport minister Mr. Kumara Welgama and NTTF Director Mr. K. Venugopal for achieving 100% attendance for all 4 years of my training period, they appreciated me for my consistent Performance.

I was the team member of three major projects nominated for Mini IMPROVE at plant level.

For our project on ‘Providing gun parking lock’, I was the first student to have implemented the improvement.

I was awarded the Best Deputy GUL at plant level for Horizon Gemba (Ashok Leyland) in FY12-13.

PROJESTS

TITLE OF PROJECT- TO INCREASE THE PROCESS CAPABILITY FOR DOOR GAP IN BOSS CABIN

SUMMERY OF PROJECT- Door gap and flushness (process variation) of door gap in boss cabin was more. Due to this process capability was very low. to increase the process capability we checked the process thoroughly and in CMM report of cabin found that A-post position was not in specified limit. We freeze its position and process variation reduced .

OTHER IMPROVEMENT-

Gun parking lock provided at front end line to improve the shank life.

EEI reduction at FE-21 by modify the fixture height.

Unsafe activity eliminate by modify the hand pallet fork.

In house trolley made for bulkhead to avoid damages in pallets.
