I started with inbound technical support calls for the Corel Priority technical support division. Technical documents were written for various solutions. Then moved to DSS (Decision Support Systems) and developed reports in Visual Basic 6.0, Informix 4GL. Data warehousing ETL and reporting from various data sources. The technologies used were ADO, ODBC, T-SQL, VBA, INFORMIX, UNIX, Visual Basic 6.0, and Oracle8i and 9. Assisted in corporate data warehouse development and analysis of available systems to integrate into data warehousing structure. Data warehouse consisted of telephony, order system, email system and other database systems integrated into one single data warehouse. Primary duties were maintenance and improvement of processes and report development. Report development involved extensive sql queries in both T-SQL and Oracle and supported several applications. Data warehouse was several terabytes in size.
