Arthritis Foundation, Oklahoma Division – South Central Region 1998 – 2013 Regional Vice President/Executive Director (2008 – 2013) The Oklahoma Division of the Arthritis Foundation is part of the South Central Region (Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico). I was directly responsible for all facets of the Oklahoma Division office and their service area of 66 counties. I had oversight of human resources, strategic planning, fundraising, program development and implementation, budget and finance management, social media activities, and all local media relations. The Oklahoma Division exceeded its budgeted revenue goals by more than $340,000 over a five year period.
Set fundraising record for annual gala raising more than $324,000.
Supervised remote office staff from Houston, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Tulsa, and Albuquerque.
Directed Camp JAM “Juvenile Arthritis and Me” an annual summer camp for kids with arthritis.
Served on the Arthritis Foundation’s National Dinner and Gala Staff team to develop “best practices” for galas across the nation ensuring brand consistencies.
Selected to pilot a National Institutes of Health initiative for Native Americans.
Chaired the SCR dinner and gala staff team to ensure gala events were executed, reached fundraising goals, and maintained national branding standards.
