Utilities skills learned as Draftsman to help trouble shoot and solve mechanical duties as well as keeping all paperwork organized and work area clean of debris, for a safe work environment.

Work closely with engineering team, foremen and welders on the creation of structural and piping designs, the verification of dimensions to ensure correctness of materials list, and vetting of designs to ensure safety and soundness.
Create preliminary and detailed 3D drawings for tank fabrication, general and piping systems as required by welders and engineers.
Review drawings to determine correct materials use, identify structural improvements, establish approvals and ensure efficiency and completeness of drawings.
Create preliminary designs for conceptual view and use in further expansion of job sites, piping systems and improvements to fabricated designs.
Reverse engineer already-built and pre-existing constructions for improvement, sourcing and later fabrication.
Review/interpret blueprints to create BOM for later materials sourcing and PO creation.
