THESIS
“An assessment of samples from siliciclastic and carbonate reservoirs in south central Mississippi, with regard to CO2 storage, sequestration, and tertiary recovery”
RELEVANT COURSE WORK
Geophysics/ Experimental Methods in Material Research/ Structural Geology/ Ore Deposits/ Carbon dioxide sequestration (AAPG short course)/ Geomorphology/ Engineering Geology/ Subsurface methods/ Sedimentology I&II/ Isotope Geochemistry/ Carbon dioxide sequestration (AAPG short course)/ Seismic Interpretation (AAPG short course)
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Drilling Optimization Data Tech at Phoenix Technology Services June-August 2014
Assisted the Drilling Optimization Centre personnel with organization of data deliverables to be provided to our clients periodically throughout the drilling process being carried out on their projects
Required activities will include data acquisition from various online sources, organization into required presentation formats, and preparation for pre-delivery quality verification
Worked closely with the Drilling Optimization Team and associated stake holders to help ensure the process of acquiring, organizing, and presenting various data streams are handled in an efficient and timely manner, such that all required client delivery times are achieved
Services was performed in a 24 hour rotating shift environment and such work schedules was defined
Teaching Assistant at Mississippi State University August 2011- present
Instructed Mineralogy, Structure, Sedimentology, Petrology and Geology I classes
Assisted and supported 30 to 40 students in learning fundamental geological concepts
Summer Intern at Petroci USA Inc. May-August 2012
Monitored daily oil production
Ensured well being of approximately 19 wells
Recorded and reported daily production to main office
Worked as a team member to solve any issues on site such as wells dysfunction
Petrel fundamentals and Petrel Geology Training at Schlumberger December 2013
Familiarized with the different functions of Petrel
Learned to conduct geological analysis with petrel
Utilized software to make geologic interpretations
