Chief Pharmacist (Home Delivery) Site Leader (Horsham location) (2008 - 2015)
Lead for all home delivery base pharmacists and the overall practice of pharmacy at three licensed sites in Horsham, PA, Pittsburgh, PA and Sioux Falls, SD as well as well as offsite pharmacists. This includes start-up and initial licensure of the third Home Delivery site as Cigna’s first Central Processing Pharmacy.
Maintained current level of pharmacist staff while supporting a 20% increase in dispensing volume, topping 6 million prescriptions for 2014 and enhanced pharmacist support for patients.
Led direct reporting team and overall organization in year over year improvement in external dispensing accuracy, from 99.992% to 99.997%.
Maintained required pharmacy compliance standards as well as VIPPS accreditation and information protection at the pharmacy and PBM levels
Achieved voluntary attrition rate in team to less than 2% per year. Worked to develop strong relationship between home delivery pharmacists with other Cigna Pharmacy Management Pharmacist teams to bring a single unified approach to members.

Base Operations Site Manager (2004 - 2008)
Managed all non-specialty pharmacy operations at the Horsham, PA site, including quality and volume of workflow for the enterprise. This included front-end clinical and dispensing functions.
Through partnership with counterpart in South Dakota facility, transformed operation into single entity working in sync to improve accuracy, decrease turnaround time and increase prescription volume.
Responsible for oversight of Horsham facility, which employed 300 associates.
Support Services Manager (2001 - 2004)
Managed all Support Service functions for enterprise. The primary functions of this department included the resolution of all non-clinical exceptions to normal prescription processing as well the identification, ownership and correction of any situation that has caused an order to be delayed in-house. While accomplishing this, the group’s actions lead to a 10% decrease in the number of orders reaching an aged order status. Increased patient satisfaction by developing and implementing a structured method of tracking and proactive outreach to patients.

Pharmacy Services Manager, Horsham Site (1997 - 2001)
Managed all functions for departments of Horsham site that included a 25-member Call Center and all prescription processing exception resolution areas. This included: eligibility concerns, physician contact for prescription clarification, clinical interventions, adjudication rejections and various types of patient contact that add value to the dispensing process for the patient.
Led Call Center activities including clinical patient consultation, basic order/account concerns, and handling of escalated issues.
Initiated process to identify and resolve any issues resulting in an in-house order delay.
Oversaw all quality, productivity, staffing and budgetary concerns for a staff of over 75 employees.
Pharmacist Supervisor, Dispensing Area (1995 - 1997)
Managed the activity of all pharmacists and dispensing technicians in Operations Area of pharmacy, with a staff of 20 pharmacists and 10 technicians.
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, responsible for pharmacist pre-adjudication responsibilities and the workflow and output of both technicians and pharmacists in the facility’s automated fulfillment areas.
