To: The Nursing Unit Manager
Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I am pleased to submit my application for the position of Registered Nurse Division-1 to contribute to the well-being of the clients/residents. I am a well-qualified nurse who would be an excellent choice for a position. I have an ability to grow with a job, handle responsibility and build positive relationships with work colleagues at all levels. I have 2 years working experience as a Registered Nurse in the Philippines in Intensive Care Unit,Operating Theatre and was also rotated in Medical and Surgical wards. I also have 1 year nursing experience in Saudi Arabia in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Infertility Department and Surgical Department assisting Consultants and Specialist in performing different types of clinical procedures such as endometrial biopsy cryocauterization, performing surgical wound suturing and dressing and many more. In addition, I finished Certificate 3 in Aged Care in Australia and have 1 year and 9 months experience in a high care unit, psycho geriatric/ dementia unit and mental health unit as an Assistant in Nursing in one of Queensland Health Facility- Cooinda House. I have 5 weeks experience in John Fawkner Private Hospital- Healthscope in Melbourne as a Registered Nurse student and I was assigned in the Orthopedic Ward, Medical and Surgical Ward during my clinical placement.
My experience over the past few years has helped me to learn much in this field. I am highly skilled in rendering quality care, formulating an appropriate care plan, assessing patient/ clients condition, taking vital signs and reporting any deviation to the doctor and performing physical examinations that will help diagnose a client’s illness. I have an in-depth knowledge of preparation and administration of drugs and have a profound ability to use computer systems and use ACFI. Furthermore, I have a deep desire to help the patients with caring attitude and an inherent ability to remain calm under emergency conditions. I am also a trained Basic Life Support provider and had my Manual Handling Training from a Queensland Health Institution. Beyond that which is already mentioned in my attached resume, I am someone who knows how to set goals and achieve them, and have a proven track record of being able to conceive, develop & execute care plans. I feel certain that my skills coupled with my ability to strive harder in upgrading my knowledge and skills and be of immediate value to your facility are my positive points as an applicant. I very much hope that you will look favorably upon my application by recognizing my enthusiasm, talents in the field of aged care, high care, sub-acute, maternal and child care, critical care, psychogeriatric and dementia care, and my future potential.
In my case, I need visa sponsorship to have full working rights in Australia as I am currently on a visa which has limited working hours. I am also willing to relocate if needed. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you in more detail regarding my qualifications and your requirements. I can be reached via mobile 042*******, by the above address or via email acq0r8@r.postjobfree.com
