12/2013 -05/2014 Outside Marketing and Sales Director. Builders approached me with questions on how to revive their 39 year old indoor mall/flea market the Village Flea Market. This was a precursory position to place steps into position for the current management team to make the changes needed for setting up a sellable product.

05/2014 – 06/2015 –General Manager of onsite and offsite operations It became obvious that further management changes were needed to accomplish these goals, as of May 2014. I was put in charge of onsite General Management of the project to bring building and procedures up to industry standards.

06/2015- Present Outside Sales Director Having hired and training proper staff and implemented SOPs I was able step back out to the outside sales.

Bargain Hunters is an Eclectic Repurposing Store featuring Homemade Furniture Paints and Waxes, Soaps, and a multitude of Reused – Renewed – Repurposed items including Antiques, Boutique Items, & Vintage Finds.

My wife Michelle and I found ourselves needing extra income in early 2013 when my business partner took the capitol and proceeds from a partnership of a small advertising medium I had retired from Indian Hills Hardware to pursue and left the company with zero income and no way to recover it.

We purchased a failing thrift store. We purchased Bargain Hunters and it has been profitable since the second month of purchase. On a shoe string budget we restocked and created the tools to make it a well know name among the repurposing and antiquing crowd of Wichita and surrounding areas. As you can see we are quite proud of our accomplishments with the shop.

Please don’t let this success make you think we are not transferable. We are a resilient family of self starters always willing to seek new adventures and challenges. I hope that this is a testament to my ability to find always find the positive in an apparent negative.
