Description: The purpose of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is

implementing Data warehouse for Client. EDW is a Single Business-Aligned

Enterprise Model which provides a Single version of Truth. It will increase

clarity. The advantages of the project includes Reduced Total Cost of

Ownership through new resource ramp-up, storing what is required at only

Description: The eProfiterol application has been designed to

facilitate the preparation of contracts with NIKE Customers, tracking the

profitability of the contracts, forming offers and getting different type

of reports for the contracts. The eProfiterol application requires a data

feed from the different ERP systems to be able to provide the above

mentioned functionality. Hence an ETL interface would be created to feed

data from the JD ERP systems via the staging area to the eProfiterol

application. The ETL interface so created would load the following data

into eProfiterol:

While Customer, Product, Pricing master and Equipment Installation data

would be extracted from staging and loaded directly into the eProfiterol

Description: ROGERS has embarked on an EDW and BI initiative to manage

its enterprise better by integrating its different business entities'

information in the data warehouse. The BI solution is envisioned to support

ROGER'S current analytical capabilities and also extend the same to support

the future corporate strategic requirements.

The objective of Step 2 of this data warehousing initiative is to provide

an enterprise system that will integrate the entities related to sales and

marketing and provide analytical capabilities through enterprise dashboards

and reports to the Corporate Management to realize and recognize the sales

revenue and the NEP from the information shifted and selected from the

homegrown systems supporting the different business entities and carefully

organized in the data warehouse.

Sales reports in ROGERS are being built by querying the source systems

directly and presenting the data in Excel format. This process is

cumbersome and has its own limitations. Rogers hence decided to build an

Enterprise Data Warehouse to support their Reporting needs. As the first

step, Rogers embarked on building a Data Mart for their SALES user group
