My job duties include animal husbandry and caring for the recovering and adoptable cats. Other
duties included cleaning cages, bathing cats and kittens, administering medications, supplying
food and water and generally caring for rescued animals.
CAROL HOUSE QUICK FIX CLINIC
July – August 2014
I performed general animal husbandry duties for the patients receiving treatment, spay and
neuters or vaccinations. Assisted the veterinarian and technicians during treatment, observed
surgeries, and assisted during the recovery of patients after surgery. Animal restraint, behavior,
and pet care, were also things learned on the job.
PURINA PET ADVOCACY LEADER, NESTLE PURINA
June 2013-August 2014
I was selected to participate in the Purina Pet Advocacy program (PALS) where I was educated
in becoming a leader in my community. Participated in the Youth Leadership St Louis Program
(Focus St. Louis) which partners with PALs. As part of the PAL team I helped develop and
create a PSA video to be used as an educational tool in the community.
Acquired 168 hours volunteer hours in PALs.
