Senior Project: With a team of four engineering students, researching and developing a wind turbine that generates energy
using variable pitch to generate power. The team is prototyping the turbine using SolidWorks design tools and MATLAB
analysis tools. Weekly status updates and team agendas govern the team organization. The project culminates in the
delivery of a PowerPoint presentation to industry representatives and a comprehensive written final report.
Communication: Developed collaboration and communication skills through teaching English abroad for three
months. Learned to adjust rapidly to new culture and environment.
