PROJECTS:
S-BAND TRANSMIT RECEIVE MULTI MODULE (TRMM)
January 2015 to May 2015
Customer - CABS (CENTRE FOR AIRBORNE SYSTEMS) - BANGALORE
Description:
TRMM plays a major role in Active Electronically Scanned Array. AESA is a type of phased array radar, whose
transmitter & receiver functions are composed of numerous small solid state transmit/receive modules. The phased
array radar allows the electronic steering of an antenna beam in any direction and with high antenna gain by controlling
the phase at each antenna element. This beam steering technique is much more compact and much faster than
mechanically steered arrays. System is designed and developed with EMI/EMC protection. The internal arrangement i.e.
Mounting of all Electronics modules has been decided by us based on Structural stability, Thermal performance, Cable
routing layouts, Accessibility, Manufacturability, Serviceability, Ergonomics and Aesthetics.
NIUSAT
May 2014 to December 2014
Customer -NIU, Thuckalay.
Description:
This System is a Nano-satellite which is 27x27x27cm in dimension & around 13 kg in mass designed for Low earth
orbit. The satellite has a imaging payload, to monitor the earth. The monitored data will be send to ground station
through UHF Transmitter. The satellite is planned to be launched through Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle. The internal
Sub systems & Controlling modules are designed and developed as per the customer requirements. The internal
arrangement i.e. Mounting all electronics modules has been decided by us based on Structural stability, Thermal
performance, Cable routing feasibilities, Accessibility, Manufacturability, Serviceability, Ergonomics and Aesthetics.
AUTOMATED TEST EQUIPMENT FOR SCDS
November 2013 to April 2014
Customer - HAL, Bangalore.
Description:
This ATE is used in the Lab applications to check the ground level functionality of SMFD (Smart Multi-Functional
Display) & DIU (Data Interface Unit). It is standard 19 inch 32U Rack with the sub systems mounted on the 19” frames of
th th
Rack. By keeping in mind user Ergonomics, the keyboard and display has been placed in the 15 U and 17 U of the Rack.
Display is mounted in the Side of the Rack by using Rotatable Support arm. So that, while moving ATE inside the lab,
display can be folded to side walls of the ATE to avoid damage to the display. In addition to this, standard 19 inch 12U
Rack is used to locate the SMFD & DIU Unit. At the top of the rack a special arrangement was designed to accommodate
the UUT as per the customer specifications and other parameters like Aesthetics, Ergonomics, Cable routing feasibility
and sub system mounting are taken care.
AUTOMATED TEST EQUIPMENT FOR SCILG
August 2013 to Nov 2013
Customer - ISRO, Trivandrum.
Description:
This Single Channel ILG (Inertial Laser Gyroscope) Checkout is a test unit for a sensor, Which detects the
angular displacement of a rotating object. The SCILG receives displacement signals from the sensor to evaluate UUT and
also generate signals required for initiating the action to sensor. In addition to that a trolley is designed with
considering the Overall dimensions, Weight, Mounting arrangement of the SCILG system and other parameters like
Aesthetics, Ergonomics and Cable routing feasibility.
