removal, track inspection, billing, rail car repairing, welding, operating
oxygen & acetylene torch, operating forklift.
Job Responsibilities & Assignments:
Safety & Securing; Overseeing all employees by securing employees are
working with in protected area. Having blue signal and locking protection
is displayed at or near both ends of rolling equipment or near
switch/switches providing access to both ends tracks.
P.P.E-Tools-Equipment; is in safe condition/safe to use/correct for task.
INBOUNDS & OUTBOUNDS; intermodal rail cars have received an initial
intermodal class 1 air test, mechanical track inspection and defects have
been found, noted, and defects are completed in a safely timely matter and
all outbound trains. Are released on time, zero train delays, defect free,
roll byes completed.
Defects found; Completed safely by following proper steps procedures,
repairs performed are condemnable and in compliance with F.R.A AND A.A.R
field manual.
Assignments-
Check BNSF UMLER system: On computer for B1, B H, &EW rail cars. Perform
repair safely, note down on document location, defect, and release on umler
system, inform personnel in charge.
Perform and complete on document; Mechanical track inspection audits 4
audits per weekly, Employee Work observation audits per shift 3, Daily
P.P.E and Tools audits per shift, Equipment & Material inventory 4 per
month;
Sync Hand Held; sync data on hand held that have been perform on prior
shift's into express yard, As well as download all current scheduled
outbound rail cars and sync to hand held.
Check billing; All information documented on paperwork and entered into
hand held have been correctly filled with correct car initials, car number,
job code, quantity amount, defect code,
Quality Assurance Action Item Management System; Complete two corrective &
preventive items assigned per month.
