Responsibilities included a wide array of duties as the retail store was next to a full
service hookah lounge that employees had to balance between. I assisted in daily store
operations, was an occasional key holder for opening/closing responsibilities and
general management of the store. I worked closely with store owners to effectively
address store and customer issues. General and overall knowledge of store items
included but were not limited to; cigarettes, cigars, vaporizers and accessories,
multiple other related tobacco items, wines, craft beers, growler station, choice
supplements and herbal remedies, hookahs and multiple accessories, local artistry,
novelty items, disc golf sporting goods, bicycles, skateboards, adult novelty toys, and
a glass art studio in store. Necessary for the hookah lounge in back of the store was
knowledge of all equipment for regular set-up, cleaning, and general maintenance.
Duties included a DJ/bartender/server type of customer service to provide a unique
and enjoyable, full service environment for the customer.
