Experience in computer aided design using SolidWorks 2009 and 2013, Autodesk Mechanical

desktop 2008, AutoCAD 2011, and DraftSite.

Familiar with series 2024, 6061, and 7075 aluminums.

Knowledge of anodizing, coatings, and films per AMS, MIL-DTL-13942, and MIL-C-5551

specifications.

Develop NVG (Night Vision Google) products per MIL-L-85762 (now MIL-STD-3009).

Project Engineer - Contractor

Hired to support a L3 contract to convert two (2) Air Tractor 802 aircraft cockpits to NVIS compatibility for

the Yemen government.

Design prototype parts and components to verify and test lighting concept prior to production run.

Manage and oversee the day-to-day engineering operations and support customer requirements (both

internal and external).

Check drawings and Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) for accuracy and proper documentation in

accordance with Apache Enterprises engineering practices.

Instrumental in streamlining the flow of engineering drawing changes.

Outline and develop engineering approaches to convert existing control boxes (Radar Altimeter, Autopilot,

and Fuel Flow Indicator) for internal NVIS compatibility.

Surveyed Argentinian C-130’s and KC-130’s for internal and external NVIS compatibility modification.

Instrumental in getting the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) ready for presentation to L3 for the

Argentinian project.

Navy.

Revise electrical drawings as required to implement new system integration within existing aircraft

electrical schematics.
