> Company - Larsen and Toubro Ltd. (Dec 2010 - May 2011)
Role: Software Developer Intern
- L&T Chiyoda had softwares that were procured on expensive
license fee bases
- So as a intern, I developed a software that would track the
usage of such licenses and monitored the un-used time
duration
- The results were helpful for the cost-benefit analysis for
such expensive licenses
- If the un-used time for a particular user would exceed some
pre-defined timelimit, the designed software would
automatically kill license for that user and free it for
others to use
- This resulted in optimizing the license usage upto 75%, an
idea which was implemented by the other functional units too
Apart from these client based projects, have carried out several internal
Information Management (IM) projects.
Also, did a full fledged analysis of SPF integration and upgradation and
provided Engineering Data Warehousing solutions for Oil and Gas Major
clients such as Nexen Canada.
