OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

Operating X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, computerized tomography (CT) scanners,

mammography units and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce radiographs

Capturing anatomic images of the human body and helping in diagnosis by radiologists for disease or injury

Position patient on examining table and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area

as requested by physician to get the best possible X-Ray

Mobilizing Wheel X-Ray machines to the emergency ward or bed-ridden patient in their private rooms

Conducting Non-Contrast and Contrast enhanced study of all body parts viz: Brain, Cranium, PNS, Neck

and Chest survey, Upper and lower abdomen, S.I Joint, Pelvis

Placing imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance as per specification of

examination

Processing exposed radiographs using film processors and other computer generated methods

Ensuring radiation safety measures and monitoring the patient during the radiographic examination in

compliance with government regulations

Performing basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment

Recording and process patient data and reporting abnormal signs to physician
