• Direct purchasing projects for the end user. This includes ongoing tracking of expenses and
budget, and monitoring to ensure that all policies are being followed, and that state contracts are
adhered to when required.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Compile statistics and data under requirements of the Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL), and
other agencies or individuals as requested.
• Applied knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Access), and Microsoft Project
software to create budgets and reports, track inventory maintenance, student registration, event
planning, notification submission, as well as budget reconciliation.
• Make financial recommendations to the Department chair for budget based on budget/expenditure
reports.
• Troubleshoot computer and other office equipment problems (hardware and software), virus
detection and removal, repair of other problems.
• Manage incoming students and visiting scholars, including tracking of their progression.
• Complete, submit and track travel authorizations, vouchers for all department members.
• Applied knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Software to build and maintain departmental
websites for Pharmacognosy and Environmental Toxicology.
