Sunquest Information Systems is a leading supplier of Diagnostics IT solutions

and a market leader in clinical data management. The company designs,

develops, and supports a comprehensive suite of information products for

hospitals and laboratories. Founded in 1979 as Sunquest Information Systems,

Headquartered in Tucson, AZ with development centers in Tucson, AZ and

Bangalore, India with an overall manpower of 700 of which 150 employees are

located in Bangalore

My Core role at Sunquest is:

Recruitment: Handled End to End recruitment single handedly. Was successful in

forming an entire team size of 12 within a month. Hired 50 people across bands

in 5 months.

In this role, I was actively involved in

. Understanding the recruitment needs from the line managers and formulate

plans and forecasts

. Managing open positions, developing job postings, administering recruitment

advertisements and tracking results

. Screening of the profiles and scheduling the assessments/interviews for

qualifying candidates

. Responsible for checking all references to verify eligibility of

shortlisted candidates

. Rolling out the offer letters, appointment letters

. Updating the staffing reports on daily basis

Training and Development:

. To ensure that the new entrants complete all the mandatory trainings within

3 days of joining

. Understanding the training requirements from the line managers and planning

the internal and external trainings

. Analyzing the training feedback and sharing the same with HR manager

I was supporting the HR team of Unisys in the following capacity -

Performance Appraisal Consultant:

< Building effective data base of profiles through various sources like

job portals, internal employee reference, network through prospective

candidates etc., involves posting advertisement in portals as per the

requirements of the business units.

< Evaluating calls of potential candidates seeking to work in service

desk

< Conduct Java, Dot Net, Software Testing, Fast track, and

Communications Test to determine their competencies concerning their

technical and language proficiency and selecting them based of their

performance on the call and the overall score

< I was required to appraise the candidates' performance based on the

four parameters in the framework viz. Voice Clarity, Fluency, Grammar

& Accent Neutrality and rate them on their competencies

< Prepare and submit evaluation reports to meet client specific

requirements

< Organizing and coordinating daily walk-ins and job fairs in order to

achieve the targeted manpower requirements
