. Business development, risk control and management of all sales to
internal and external markets with a budgeted volume of 669 328 m3 and a
sales budget of R306m per annum.
Activities
. Marketing and Sales - Ensure that timber volumes are delivered on a
rateable basis to 3 internal and 30 external markets. Measuring supplies
to individual markets on a daily basis and following up on non
performance and implementing alternative timber supply options to meet
targets.
. Budget Control -Compile yearly/monthly sales budget per market.
Verifying sales to markets and market prices on a monthly basis. Cash

markets; Liaison with accounts department regarding the accounts of
external markets and account queries. Communications - ensuring markets
are well informed and receive personal attention through correspondence
and visits; Formalise supply delivery agreements with suppliers;
Resolving market queries promptly.
. Administration and Contract Management - Compiling and updating of all
contracts (32 contractors) regarding silviculture, harvesting, services,
standing sales, supply and transport on an annual basis. Ensure that all
contractors are BBEEE registered and comply with all legal requirements.
Update of SFP price list (internal/external markets) on a monthly
basis.
. Operational Management - Sourcing of contractors for eg. harvesting,
transport for project and own operations and monitoring infield
harvesting operations to check volume produced and quality of product
for end market.
