Developed daily work processes for planners cascading down to key work centers. This procedure clearly
displays the current work at each work center as well as throughput needs.
Increased On-Time-Delivery metric for aftermarket parts from 46% to an average of 92% per month. Using Daily
Management Boards and targeted outsourcing this metric was met within 4 months of implementation.
Successfully launched two product lines with estimated yearly revenue of $4MM and $11MM respectively. Both
product lines went from drawings to finished products in 4 months. The assignments included hazard
assessment for work as well as best practices for assemble and handling.
Successfully reduced inventory from $14MM to $9.8MM or 30% in 12 months without disruption to service.
Inventory was kept at $9.5MM average inventory and 99% accuracy at Physical inventory for last 3 years.
Implemented Daily Management Boards for On Time Delivery and Incoming Materials. The boards displayed
the scheduled receipt, actual receipt of incoming material and provided a guideline for labor movements and
revenue forecast.
Currently re-establishing key portions of MRP system. The system was devoid of true costs and updates to
cycle times. This is being addressed to improve planning functions and clearly mark constraints in work flow.
