Plant Manager and Director of Engineering Audits 1991-1994

Responsible for the financial and daily management of Manufacturing,

Quality Assurance, Engineering, Purchasing, HR and Scheduling of a 1.5MM

sq. ft. facility. Employment head count = 855, 4 shift, 7 days per week.

First facility to surpass McDonalds corp. quality audit requirements.

Attained a rating of 99.8% vs. goal of 98.5%

in annual audits. Awarded McDonald's "Supplier of Choice".

Achieved 3,000,000 hours worked without a lost time injury.

Directed the activities of an Engineering Team assigned to perform semi-

annual technical audits for each of the 12 manufacturing sites across the

United States and Canada.

Established effective personnel development programs to address skills

shortages and succession planning.

Operations Manager 1988-1991

Responsible for the Production, Printing, Maintenance and Quality Assurance

of 2 separate business units (Paper and Bakery).

Paper division was comprised of 375 skilled and semi skilled hourly

employees, 1 Production Manager and 1 Maintenance Manager.

Plastics Manager 1983-1988

Responsible for the construction, staffing, equipment selection and

installation of a 500M sq. ft. facility which was cited as one of the most

advanced computer integrated manufacturing facilities in the world.

Directed the training and start up of all extrusion, forming, molding,

printing and material blending operations.

Participated with resin suppliers to develop a lower cost higher quality

raw material.
