trouble shoot, problem solve at customer and in-house. Time studies.
Moeller Aircraft division, Wixom MI, 1/13 - 1/14 Manufacturing
Applications Engineer
Continuous Improvement thru cycle time reduction, tool life optimization,
and 5S. Work with other engineering departments to identify and target
loosing jobs for reprocessing, programming and tooling upgrades. Evaluate
and document cost analysis of changes. Manufacture of parts for gas turbine
aircraft engines & power gen. industries.
( Responsible for over 1M in cost savings for fiscal 2013.
Brighton N.C. Machine, Brighton MI, 4/10-1 /13 Leader, Process, Program,
Milling
Lead man for new jobs, process, program, and prove out. Prototype process,
machining. Cycle time reduction, continuous improvement, and high-
performance tool testing on existing jobs.
( Successful machining of large, close tolerance prototypes led to new
work in this category.
HFT Manufacturing, Wixom MI, 9/97-3/10 General Manager - Hands on
Responsible for managing prototype and production parts manufacturing from
quote to shipping.
CNC and manual machining job shop. Work with customers and their
engineering departments for cost, quality and best practice. Complex
prototypes, R & D, CNC machining, and fabricate & assembly for aerospace,
automotive, and heavy truck industries.
( Brought in and maintained larger customers, supporting 30% growth.
Robmar Precision, Westland MI, 5/92-7/97 CNC Milling Specialist
Process, fixture, program, and prove out to produce complex precision parts
for the aerospace industry. Responsible for higher volume jobs (money
makers) and difficult, close tolerance prototypes.
( Responsible for leading a project to machine parts to support production
at GM Willow run. This turned into a financial windfall, leading to
expansion.
