Academic Projects
Aug ’13 – Dec ‘13
Design and analysis of chassis for SAE Baja race:
A model of chassis is built in Solidworks and imported into Ansys for further analysis.
The vehicles crashworthiness is evaluated in three distinct modes: Frontal, Side and Rear.
May ’12 – July ‘12
Comparison and analysis of welded and bolted joints for a control room panel:
Designed and developed a control room panel with a bolted joint and welded joint.
Comparison of welded joints and bolted joints is done by analyzing it using Ansys.
Jan ’15 – May ‘15
Optimization of Engine bracket:
Engine bracket is designed in solid works, keeping in mind to reduce the overall weight.
Analysis is carried out using Ansys to find out the overall stress distributed and yielding points.
Thus obtained results were used to develop Matlab code and using Isight the optimized weight
of the engine bracket is found.
Aug ’14 – Dec ‘14
Design and analysis of Nano-imprinter:
Model is created using Creo.
Analysis is performed on the model using Ansys.
Later on worked on ECN to facilitate manufacturing of the same.
Jan ’14 – May ‘14
Creation of Manufacturing sequence for a model:
Desired model is developed using CREO then, CNC program is created for the model to facilitate manufacturing.
Appropriate milling machines, tools are selected for the manufacturing.
Model is being analyzed before creating the CNC program. Tool Used: Ansys
Jan’15 – May’15
Design and Analysis of a conformal cooling channels for Injection Moulding:
Model of conventional and conformal cooling channels are designed in Solidworks.
Transient thermal analysis is done on the models using Ansys Workbench.
