Piping Designer,
Handle design of all projects relating to system upgrades, replacements and
refurbishments. Perform the necessary field work, gathering data to design
and capture existing conditions for Tie-In locations. Perform design work
using 2015 AutoCAD Plant 3D Design Suite and CadWorx Plant, creating
projects, routing, equipment modeling, and structural steel. Generate
detailed drawings, Iso's, piping plan and sections, equipment and GA's.
Maintain spec catalog utilizing the spec editor function of the software. I
manage the models as the administrator, updating cats and specs, generating
reports.
AMEC - 08/2014 to 10/2014
Piping Designer,
Responsibilities-Using PDMS for modeling of equipment, pipe routing and
pipe supports. Checking ISO's, weekly model reviews, generating ISO's,
generating piping plans and sections using Draft.
Day & Zimmermann - 05/2014 to 08/2014
Piping Designer
Invista/DuPont Victoria Plant-Boiler #2 refurbishment
I contributed in the 30% and 60% onsite model review. Generated field
sketches during onsite walk down. Picked location points for Tie-ins and
field located. I performed site layouts using PDMS pipe routing, modeling
equipment, generating Iso's and to produce plot plans, tie-in drawings,
also pipe and section drawings in Draft.
AMEC - 01/2014 to 05/2014
Piping Designer
Responsibilities-Using PDMS for modeling of equipment, pipe routing and
pipe supports. Checking ISO's, weekly model reviews, generating ISO's,

Piping Designer
Rockwood project- chemical plant in GA...Responsibilities-Utilizing PDMS
and AutoCAD, I modeled equipment, modeled pipe and pipe supports, extracted
2D drawings from the model using DRAFT.
Michelin Plant US 8 Group 83 project: Using PDMS I modeled hot and cold
water pipe for HVAC air handler units. Draft-pipe drawings for construction
for entire project consisting of pipe racks, HVAC air handler locations.
Midrex Technologies, Inc. - 03/2012 to 10/2012
Piping/Mechanical Designer,
Responsible for work on various steel plant projects throughout Asia.
My main focus was the furnace tower equipment and piping using AutoCAD.
Generated site layout of equipment and pipe routes for studies in the plant
on various line sizes for the most cost effective and most functional. Used
Navisworks tool for review meetings to go over troubled areas or just
updating clients or management.
Areva, Charlotte, NC 01/2009 to 03/2012

layout of equipment and placement per the plot plans and general
arrangement drawings, while maintaining proper standards for access/egress.
More responsibilities were; generation of PFD and P&ID's; generating piping
Isometric drawings; generation of piping plan and section drawings;
performing data consistencies checks on pipe branches; creating clash
reports per pipe branch; populating material takeoffs; checking of drawings
of other designers; participate in trips to plant sites for walk downs,
field sketches of existing equipment and pipes for
retrofitting/replacement.
Participated in leading model reviews for project team and clients; worked
