Summary
A professional linguist with seven years of experience teaching English to Russians and ten years of
experience translating. Over 15 years, I attained virtually native fluency in spoken/written Russian
in every field through daily immersion at a variety of job settings, as well as interaction with the Tax
Inspectorate, Pension Fund, Migration Service, the Arbitration Court, notaries, banks, etc.
Translating and proofreading documentation in English written by Russians is something I have
been doing at every one of my jobs, which led to my last job as a full-time translator/interpreter.
Before that, my natural-born communication skills led to a successful career in business
development for both Russian and Western companies in Moscow.
