Project: Global Cash Utility- US payments
UBS is the world's leading provider of private banking services and one of the largest asset managers globally.
USD clearing volumes average 50,000 daily payments totaling over USD 300 billion. The GCU US project deals
with replacement of the legacy payment engine AMTRACS to the new global components of the Strategic
Solution Platform (SSP) payment processing engine that supports SWIFT, FED and CHIPS payment
transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Developed test strategies and test plans. Led component integration test, business process end-to-end
tests, system test, and security and access test. This involved designing the templates, work allocation to
resources, monitoring the progress, helping the leads and teams in getting the clarifications from other
teams, and reviewed test teams productivity and test results. Responsible in defining the test strategy for a
new test phase called Parallel Testing.
• Conducted status and review, and defect management meetings; prepared minutes of meetings.
• Coordinated with QA managers, QA leads, and cross functional teams (business, GSD, build, support)
across different geographic locations (Zurich, London, Singapore, India, and other US locations).

easier for their members to use all types of Visa and MasterCard services. Members have to call the MSR for the
service. We have the portal flow for the application and the First Data Report (FDR) system where we can view
the account holder details. The corporate details of the account can be viewed in the Customize Business
Transactions (CBT) system. The process is done through phone by calling on member representative and
through the mail.
Responsibilities:
• Reviewed the Business Requirements document with the business and development team to understand
the architecture and functionality of the application.
