Cash Application Specialist (Process Associate)- Accounts Receivable Management.

In my role as a “Process Associate”, I was accountable for:

• Same day Cash application of Wire Payments, Commercial Papers, Cheques with respective invoice

details received through emails refunds to be booked

• Prepare a daily report of cash application status for applied, unapplied and unidentified payments

• Maintain filing system and statements to Keep proper backup of payment specifications in the form of

soft copies and hard copies for future reference

• Reconciliation with the Accounts payable team on regular basis to resolve any misapplication issues

• Regular follow up with the collections team for obtaining payment specifications for unapplied and

unidentified cash to keep it at minimum

• Booking of Intra-day transactions

Project Management

• Streamlining cash applications centre of excellence for effective and efficient operation of accounts

receivables

• Providing full support in pilot phase and post rolling down of projects.

• Collection and consolidation of requisite data from cash application team and collections team

• Preparing rough drafts of workflow tool to be created

• Creation of workflow forms and processes under the guidance of IT department

• Adherence to stage wise completion of the project and reporting to quality leader and project managers.
