Sir Syed University is a leading engineering school in Karachi with the second best engineering program in Karachi

• On-board computer: Assembled motherboards using AT91SAM9X35 Microcontrollers and CAN

(Controller Area Network) bus. Successfully tested and implemented the motherboards with several interfaces

including RS232, LAN interface and USB

• Line Following Robot: Developed a Line Following Robot using ATMEGA16 Microchip and

proportional-integral-derivative controller (PID controller)

• 4-Way Traffic Signal: Using PIC16F84A microchip, programmed, and demonstrated 4-way traffic

signaling

• Frequency Modulation Trainer: Assembled FM transmitters and receivers and tested functionalities on

standard FM spectrum ranging from 88.3MHZ to 107.5 MHZ

• Power-Supplies: Using LM317 Microchip, assembled power supplies with current ranging from 1.27V

DC – 16V DC

Automated Car Parking system: Developed an automated car parking system using ATMEGA16 and PLC.

Pakistan Telecommunication Company LTD., Karachi, Pakistan June 2014 – Aug

2014

Worked as an intern in PTCL, A leading telecommunication firm in Pakistan, headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan.

PTCL network expands in the entire region with millions of subscribers.

Accomplishments include:

• Performed testing on Alcatel, Siemens, Huawei, & ZTE pre-installed motherboards

• Observed, tested, and reported fault detection in telecommunication network from Control Center

• Diagnosed transmission issues with Cisco devices and worked with senior engineers to resolve the issues

• Participated in a full day 4G, LTE data networks implementation workshop

• As a member of a group, created steps and prepared documentation for call transfer and Hotline setup

• Performed field engineering survey and testing of wireless communication at Mobile Switching Center

(MSC) with senior engineers
