• Performed restriction digests to isolate the genes of interest from plasmid.
• Performed RT-PCR to create cDNA of desired genes.
• Induced X. tropicalis mating by hormone injection with human chorionic
gonadotropin (HCG) to obtain embryos.
• Aligned and analyzed the conserved functional domains and protein pairwise
sequences within Lmx1B in X. tropicalis and human using P-BLAST and CDD
tools of NCBI.
