Leading Architecture team is a result of years' Heavy involvement in IT
systems design and customer .
I started my technical career 10+ years ago as UNIX engineer, I obtained
my Servers experience and OS on HPUX and Red hat Linux.
7 Years ago I became Infrastructure design expert in "Mobinil France
Telecom" Engaged me into Software Design
4 Years ago I became an Overall architect,
2014 I lead The IT architecture and integration solutions in Mobinil.
My skills built up as I progressed in my analysis/design career.
Architecture team rose up to expectation matching the ambitious Analysis
team and business.

Skills and Experience
Focusing on Mobinil, hereafter, I detail the most effective projects I
either lead or engaged as IT architect.
Project Name: Siebel Program
Date : Siebel program started in Mobinil by mid 2008 and still active
till April 2015
Status : Active.
Description:
Multiphased Program which aims to shift Mobinil into a fully customer
oriented service company.
Siebel road-map is designed/ customized by Mobinil IT developing and
architecture teams to cater for Call center, Loyalty, Marketing and Order
Management systems. Phases of this project are concerned about these
previous systems. As follows:
Phase 1: Siebel Call Center:
Date: Nov 2008-Nov2009
Status: finished.
My Role: Capacity planning Expert.
I got engaged in design phase with the solution architect, to deliver a
design document with all infrastructure requirements such as servers,
storage, database servers, high availability requirements, and network
diagrams and bandwidth calculation. The technologies used in infrastructure
was IBM Power 7 with LPARS and Micro partitioning, databases, is oracle
11g2, High availability solutions is IBM HACMP, on AIX 6.X.
Phase 2: Siebel Loyalty.
Date: Nov 2009-Nov 2010.
Status: finished.
My Role: HW and Capacity Planning Expert.
This phase empowered business to introduce loyalty concepts into Egyptian
mobile market as Mobinil was pioneer in this area at the time. A
significant increase of market share took place.
My role was to track infrastructure changes due to the project and size the
delta upgrade needed "such as Server Upgrade, Network and SAN switch also
virtualization technology used.
I Lead performance testing, and monitored the data migration.
Challenges: Using new virtualization techniques on IBM AIX Servers
Phase 3: Siebel Marketing:
Date: Nov 2010-Feb 2012.
Status: Finished.
My Role: Solution Architect Expert.
Objective of this Siebel was to enable business to offer Customers wide
range of simple and complex offers, a
My role was to design all online interfaces to customer communication
channels.
I got engaged with technical analysis manager in mapping all functional
requirements into technical requirements.
I scheduled meetings with technical stakeholders to reach interfaces
details. Gained experience: eTOM as i worked with France Telecom
experienced architects, I learned more about Business especially
Marketing.
Challenges: Dealing with online systems "SMSC, web-methods, IVR, and USSD
.
Phase 4: Siebel Order Management
Date: June 2014-April 2015
Status: Active
My Role: Solution Architect and integration Manager
The project is to realize a business requirement of implementing Order
Management system in Mobinil.
Objectives: unified customer experience, unified Product catalog, unified
User interface, 360 customer view
Implementation: Siebel as "Order Capture activities" and TIBCO as "Order
Fulfillment"
Challenges: Master ship of data and automatic data synchronization
Project Name: Infrastructure Virtualization "IT physical servers"
consolidation.
Date: June 2008-Dec2008
Status: finished.
My Role : HW and Capacity Planning Expert
The Objective of the first phase to transform IT systems implemented on
standalone servers to virtual servers with VMWARE & Blades servers.
Challenges:
Sizing virtual environments by monitoring physical servers usage for
3months before Migrating to virtual,and, selecting suitable Virtualization
and blade servers vendors
I managed an infrastructure project to prepare, test and migrate IT
systems to the new virtualized platform.
I lead a technical task force and coordinated with all technical
stakeholders, preparation and planning 4 months, testing and
implementation in 2 months

Objective: To implement New POS and Retail systems in Mobinil. 3500 POS in
1500 Shops, franchises and small retail. Technology used "NTS
Wincash"
