Niku Benson Valles started with Accenture in 2001, with a total of 14 years

Project Overview: GRID Middleware Testing - The team performs validation of
data consistency from source clients to Grid Repository. Ensures that L2
Cache and L3 cache are consistent.

Role Description: Offshore Test Lead - Niku handled at peak, 18 resources
and was directly involved with Capacity Planning, Chargeability, Test

As the GRID Offshore lead in Manila:

process through the application. Niku was the primary POC and lead of the
BMG Phoenix Test Team.

Role Description: Offshore Test Lead / Test Manager - Niku handled at peak,
8 resources and was directly involved with Chargeability, Test Management,
Metrics Analysis, Status Reporting among other tasks. Niku started as a
tester who was responsible for creating Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test
Scripts, then proceeded to
Test Execution and then Test Closure.
As the Offshore lead in Manila:
. Offshore Point of Contact for a team of 5 testers for the GTS
Customer team.

Role Description: Test Lead
. As a analyst programmer / Test Lead in the CRM Application test
team, Niku is expected the following:
. Create test scripts based on test conditions and functional
designs.
. Execute created test scripts, and validate output based on
expected results. Ensure the completion of execution and
validation of all test cases assigned to Manila.
. Lead the completion of the Technical Connectivity Testing
. Assist in generating reports of SIR Logs
. Reviews Time Reports submitted by Programmers in his team
Results Achieved:
Niku was a good asset of the application test team. He had both the
patience in learning a new application, and a good background in
testing. His desire to take on lead roles pushed him even more on
asking more responsibilities and handling them properly. He led the
technical connectivity testing of the Siebel application, and did
other testing on the side. He also assisted in generating reports for
the SIR log and oversaw the proper submission of the time reports.
Project Verizon - Data Conversion Accenture March, 2003 - December, 2004
Role Description: System Test Lead - Niku handled 4 resources and was
directly involved with Capacity Planning, Chargeability, Test Management,
Metrics Analysis, Status Reporting, Delivery Excellence responsibilities,
among other tasks.
As the System Test Lead in Manila:
. Managing the day-to-day operations, supervising and reviewing
the work of the team
. Creating, publishing and maintaining the System Test workplan

Issue Resolution process.

Project Verizon - ExpressTRAK Media Accenture April, 2002 - January,
2003
Project Overview: ExpressTRAK is Verizon's strategic Customer Care and
Billing platform. The pricing and invoicing engines are derivatives of
Accenture's BPP1 & BPP2 market offerings. The customer care pieces are
split by the Residential (SSNS) and Large/General Business (Service
Express) lines of business. The overall platform is serving large business,
general business, consumer, and wholesale customers in MD, DC, VA, and WV.
Long Distance customers are also supported in NY and VA. Accenture
currently supports a large percentage of Verizon's BPP2 based application,
expressMedia or eMedia, via its delivery center in Manila, Philippines.
Technology Platform: Mainframe, JCLs
Role Description: Niku has worked in Mainframe environment, running jobs
and Regression Tests as a member of the System Test team in Manila.
His responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
. Preparing test plans, test conditions and test data for change
requests requiring complex modifications to the eMedia software.
. Join in status/defect meetings with onshore counterparts as
applicable
. Testing the change requests for projects involving paper and non-
paper media formats that impact the major functions.
. Identifying, analyzing, mitigating and responding to project and
operational risks
. Preparing the System Test regression test bed. This involves
testing for all the media formats including paper and non-paged
media formats.
. Conducting the regression testing for several releases. These
cycles are executed from the upstream functions all the way down
to the Print Infrastructure, and Non-Paged media functions.
. Validating the correctness and integrity of the test outputs
from both regression and progression testing .
. Preparing and mocking test data to support testing of new
functionalities.
. Conducting handshake or interface testing with other
applications that BPP2 interface with in eTRAK .
. Investigating errors and issues encountered during testing
employing functional knowledge on the major media functions and
tables driven architecture of eMedia.
. Conducting configuration management activities for configuration
items delivered at the System Test level and ensures the
integrity of the software version is accurate.
