RESEARCH WORK:
1. Cooling Plate for a Power Module:
• Worked with Argonne National Laboratory ( Sept 2013- Dec 2013) in a project in
close co-ordinance with CREE to design a 1200V, 100A Power module using
Power MOSFET’s and Resistors.
• The cooling system is to be placed below the module and prevent i t from heating
for the Hybrid Cars these days. Software used for analysis of heat produced
d uring the working is determined by COMSOL.
2. Aero-acoustic Analysis on a Flush Toilet in an Air Plane:
• Worked with B/E Aerospace (Jan 2014- till date) in understanding the
concepts of Aero-Acoustics and Aero-Dynamics of air flow in the airplane toilets.
• The main agenda or the research includes reducing the noise which comes out
of the toilet bowl due to the vortex formed by the boundary layer separation.
• On the basis of Analysis, the sound was brought down from 105 Db to 99 Db.
• Design changes were made In SOLIDWORKS and the analysis part for the
simulations were done in STAR CCM+.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. Lanco Thermal Power Plant: Jun 201- Jul 2011
• Worked in the thermal power plant to understand the basic work done
• Understand the plant design and work with the software Smart Plant 3D for
piping design
• Work with their production team to find the losses incurred in the past 2 years.
2. Rico Auto Industries Limited: May 2012- Aug 2012
• Hands on Experience with the CNC machines
• Design the basic brake drums using SOLIDWORKS used for vehicles in
Mitsubishi and Audi.
• Find the quality of each of these brake drums with the Quality Assurance team.
3. Pennar Industries Limited: Jan 2013-May 2013
• Hands On Experience with CNC machines
• Worked with the R&D Department in the analysis of brake drums using ANSYS.
• The brake drums were used in vehicles of Ford and Maruti Suzuki.
4. CGC Converse Technologies: Oct 2012 – Jan 2013
• Trained and Certified in Smart Plant 3D.
• Design projects include piping plants in Dubai.
• Worked in professional environment.
5. Baxter Laboratory: Jun 2014-Jul 2014
• Worked on Simultaneous multi axes testing equipment with electro dynamic
shaker.
• This equipment was used to predict the accelerated life of a product under high
frequency with accelerometers analyzed in a LAbView software.
• To understand the vibrations, on a 6000lb shaker a smaller value tool is being
used to understand the lifespan.
ACHIEVEMENTS & CERTIFICATIONS:
• Certified AUTOCAD student issued by the AUTODESK.
• Certified PRO-E student issued by CAD world under Engineer’s CADD centre.
• Learnt SAP ( PS, SD,MM modules) in Lanco Infratech Ltd, Gurgaon, Haryana for 2 months under
internship. I am confident that I can work on live projects with the above experience.
• Certified NX 7.5 student issued by SIEMENS.
• A+ and N+ certified by NIIT academy, India.
• Presented a paper on “Thermo Acoustic Refrigeration” PEARL –BITS Hyderabad & IIT-Kharagpur in
the Event “Speak out for Engineers” and was awarded merit.
• Attended workshop on
1. AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING conducted in VIT, Vellore conducted by parametric
technologies.
2. Entrepreneurship by Nurture Talent.
