Plant/ Improvement Manager

Jacuzzi Hot Tubs /Sundance Spas- Chino, CA

1991 -2014

. Manage day-to-day production and quality related activities of the

plants and coordinate improvement ideas with regard to productivity

and quality processes

. Ensure that products are produced within Engineered design

requirements and Quality criteria

. Work closely with R & D, Engineering, Marketing on new product

designs, part of new product team

. Identify and implement Lean process improvement projects (with

Quality perspective) to provide optimum benefits to customers and to

the company

. Layout design and start-up on new production facilities in both the

US and Mexico

. Work with Senior Management on developing key metrics (KPI, FPY and

RTY). Contribute to the overall manufacturing objectives and

. Led the MOC Engineering team with focus on continuous yield

improvements in their respective areas through Poke Yoke and Kaizen
