1. Project Name: "FPGA Based Data Acquisition System"
Organization: ATL, Hi-Tech city Hyderabad
Description:
The aim of the project 'FPGA Based Data Acquisition System'
is to collect data from sensors present on the missile from remote location
and relay the data to the ground station. The process involves in designing
of two cards
> Analog Discrete Card: It consists of 12 Multiplexers, 4 Opto Couplers
& 2 Buffers.
> Micro controller Card: It consists of ADC, FPGA, S-Ram, FIFO etc.
These Analog Discrete Card & Micro controller Card are connected through
stackable connectors and a DC-DC module is being provided.
2. Project Name: "Adoption of Open Hardware for ICT in School Education"
Organization: JNTUH, Hyderabad
Description:
Raspberry Pi is a suitable tool for developing Information and
Communication Technology learning.
It is the cheapest ARM GNU/Linux box available at the price of $25 and
onwards. This device is not only an access providing device but also a
target device for solving the linguistic based hurdles in the digital
divide caused due to the prominent use of English as the medium of
communication.
